**Director of Golf Shop Job Description**

Position Concept: The Director of Golf in JKWG will oversee the total golf operation and services offered including the golf shop and golf service areas.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee the management and performance of all golf shops and assuring high standards and total customer satisfaction
- Develop and coordinator the development of annual business plans for the golf operation
- Establish golf shop operations and supervises work of subordinates to ensure excellent customer service; hires, provides training for staff, evaluates performance, and takes disciplinary action as required
- Attends as invited committee/staff/ public meetings representing the company
- Oversee golf marketing initiatives including all promotional materials, play recruitment, yield management, golf packages and outside events plus the promotion of new golf shop membership (where applicable)
- Develops, promotes and directs all golf activities
- Monitor the daily operations and analyze the daily sales reports, weekly and monthly forecasts of the golf shop: establish monthly inventory goals; helps develop purchasing policies and procedures
- Supervise daily, weekly and monthly physical inventories of golf merchandises
- Proactively reach out to golf distributors to get a contract and build strong relationship
- Financial management of the golf operation budget

**Requirement**
- Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operation
- Must have at least 3 year as a Director of Golfshop or Head Golf Professional or equivalent
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Offices Program
- Have service and customer focus attitude
- Experience in written and oral business communication

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
