Position Summary

The Golf Club Fitter at GreenTee Golf Shop Coquitlam is responsible for delivering a premium, data-driven fitting experience using TrackMan and our indoor golf simulator bays. This role focuses on accurate equipment recommendations, technical swing analysis, and an exceptional customer experience—without any commission or sales pressure.

You will play a key role in elevating the customer journey at our Coquitlam location, serving golfers from the Westwood Plateau community and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fitting & Swing Analysis

  • Conduct one-on-one custom fittings using TrackMan and simulator technology.
  • Analyze golf swing data (launch, spin, speed, path, face angle, AOA, etc.).
  • Recommend the ideal combination of club head, shaft, flex, loft/lie, and grip.
  • Educate customers on fitting results in a clear, professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate fitting notes and session documentation.

2. Product Knowledge & Customer Support

  • Stay informed about the latest equipment from Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, PING, Mizuno, etc.
  • Provide objective, data-based recommendations—no commission or upselling pressure.
  • Assist the Coquitlam retail team with customer questions and product insights.
  • Help maintain an organized and visually appealing fitting bay and retail floor.

3. Workshop & Technical Tasks

  • Perform basic club services: regripping, loft/lie adjustments, shaft changes (training available).
  • Ensure TrackMan, simulator hardware, and demo clubs are always functional and calibrated.
  • Keep demo inventory and fitting equipment organized and updated.

4. Customer Experience

  • Create a friendly, knowledgeable, and premium environment for golfers of all skill levels.
  • Build repeat relationships and enhance customer loyalty at the Coquitlam location.
  • Support fitting events, demo days, and community activations as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in club fitting, golf retail, or golf instruction preferred.
  • Strong understanding of swing mechanics, equipment design, and fitting principles.
  • Comfortable operating TrackMan or similar launch monitor systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Passionate golfer with awareness of equipment trends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TrackMan Level 1 or Level 2 Certification
  • Experience working with indoor golf simulators
  • Basic club repair skills (training available)
