**Project Coordinator Position**:
- Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
- Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information
- Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
- & Other related tasks. Etc
**Knowledge**:
General knowledge of development and construction processes and practices. Familiarity with common work practices in the building and maintenance trade, including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, and painting, particularly as related to residential & commercial construction and renovations. Knowledge of associated occupational hazards, safety principles and practices of the trades, report writing, bid preparation and public relations.
**Skills/Abilities**:
Ability to review drawings, plans, development plans, master plans and any other applicable documents for the development of residential single family detached dwelling, home additions, renovations & commercial projects.
Able to detect flaws or defects in workmanship or materials; read and interpret building plans and specifications and check construction or repair work for conformance thereto; estimate cost and extent of labor, materials and equipment required; give clear and concise oral and written instructions, and maintain good working relationship with others and be able to prepare reports related to projects under the inspection of the supervisor.
Strong writing and verbal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
**Education**:
Graduation from an accredited college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related field.
**Experience**:
Experience: Four (4) years of work experience in architecture, engineering, construction or maintenance/repair of residential and commercial projects. Two (2) years of the four (4) years must be in a capacity as inspecting construction work or coordinating the work of construction contractors.
**Required Licenses, Certificates, etc.**:
Valid G Driver’s License
**Salary**: From $48,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
