Our client, a reputable restoration company based in Concord, Ontario, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of restoration projects. Reporting to the Project Manager (PM), the Project Coordinator will organize, direct, and manage various project activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and project appraisers

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines

  • Coordinate and assign subcontractors while managing budget constraints

  • Manage material selection and ensure timely and accurate ordering

  • Maintain clean and safe worksites in compliance with health and safety regulations

  • Obtain approvals for subcontracted work and change orders

  • Identify, track, and resolve project deficiencies promptly

  • Conduct site walk-throughs and obtain final client sign-off

  • Ensure project milestones and deadlines are consistently met

  • Provide regular updates and support to Project Managers

  • Submit weekly job status reports detailing progress, issues, and resolutions

  • Oversee protection and handling of client belongings during restoration work

  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or restoration industry roles

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT) considered an asset

  • Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods and building codes

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed

  • Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license
