**Overview**:
To provide support in conducting research activities by performing routine and standardized tasks in accordance with established protocols and procedures. This role operates within clearly defined guidelines, requiring mínimal analysis or independent judgment, and works under close supervision of a Research Associate or senior researcher to ensure accuracy and consistency in outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of administrative and operational tasks to support laboratory and research activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Organize and schedule meetings, interviews, focus groups, and other research-related events.
- Provide routine information and respond to general inquiries from clients, research participants, and colleagues (e.g., scheduling details, directions).
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment; coordinate repairs and service as needed.
- Assist with data entry into research databases, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Support laboratory operations by cleaning and organizing workspaces, sterilizing and storing glassware and instruments, and performing basic equipment maintenance.
- Collect samples for testing, prepare media, and assist with simple material preparation as per specifications.
- Conduct routine data collection and preparation activities, including sampling, sorting, and identification.
- Perform straightforward laboratory procedures such as basic tests and measurements under close supervision.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with team members and participants.
- Follow detailed instructions and refer any issues or deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.
- Carry out tasks in office, laboratory, or outdoor field environments, with occasional exposure to inclement weather or outdoor conditions.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of one year of post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering.
