Thunder Bay, Canada EPID@Work Research Institute Full time

This position is for 17 months (ending March 31, 2026), renewable depending on performance and funding. The Research Associate will complete and/or assist with the collection, processing, analysis and presentation of data from various ongoing research projects. Duties include identifying eligible participants, conducting interviews (telephone and face-to-face), conducting statistical analyses, and co-authoring reports, journal articles, and presentations. Other responsibilities will include drafting submissions for research ethics boards (REB), developing summaries of research findings for lay audiences, and other duties as needed.
- Experience with Qualtrics and STATA for data management and statistical analysis
- Experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, validating and presenting data to stakeholders
- Strong quantitative analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Must have a working familiarity with epidemiological concepts and large databases and a disciplined approach to problem solving
