CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious **Recruitment Specialist**. This is a remote, work from home opportunity. Preference for position to be based in Saskatoon, SK; however, considerations may be made for alternative locations where CP Distributors has established branches.

Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist, the **Recruitment Specialist** will contribute to CP Distributors recruitment strategy by operationalizing and executing all related talent acquisition policies and programs at the branch level.

As a **Recruitment Specialist**, you will be responsible to:

- Collaborate, make recommendations, and work side by side with our hiring managers to attract, hire, and retain the best employees while growing a pipeline to enable CPD growth
- Execute talent acquisition process including Applicant Tracking System (ATS) management and reporting of people analytics
- Create job descriptions, internal/external job postings, and post jobs
- Conduct resume review, pre-screen interviews, hiring recommendations, and reference checks
- Establish and maintain solid relationships with hiring managers, providing strategic guidance and advice as a trusted talent partner
- Support the employment lifecycle including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and onboarding for the CPD workforce
- Advise on expectations, policies, processes, and recruiting Initiatives
- Remain current with legislation and recruitment trends across the organizational regions
- Develop recruiting protocols and facilitate training for hiring managers on CP recruitment processes
- Continually assess the effectiveness of recruitment and onboarding processes, research best practices, and obtain feedback from new hires and hiring managers; utilizing the data to refine and improve processes over time

**Your Experience**:

- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full cycle recruitment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in private enterprise
- Prior knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- RPR and/or CPHR designations considered strong assets, but not required

- General knowledge and experience in employment law, organizational planning, and employee engagement
- Outstanding written and spoken communication, presentation, and diplomacy skills
- An aptitude for excellence in providing proactive service across the business
- Proven ability to coach managers in the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
- General knowledge and skills in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), online networking tools, and experience conducting searches on recruitment databases
