**The Opportunity-Administrative Assistant, Hospice**

We are currently looking for a professional and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Hospice team to provide a range of reception and administrative services.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Office Administration or similar field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of community support services
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in office administration or reception
- Experience in handling confidential information
- Experience in a health care or community support setting is considered an asset
- Must possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and other database systems)
- Ability to interact effectively both verbally and in writing
- Experience coordinating meetings, minute taking and report writing
- Ability to function as an effective team member and work cooperatively and respectfully with others
- Ability to multitask and effectively organize time and prioritize tasks to achieve goals
- Able to adapt to change as the position requires; receptive to new methods and ideas
- French language skills (verbal and written) an asset

**Salary**: From $19.67 per hour
