**Position**:Enrollment Coordinator + Digital Media Assistant with Front Desk Responsibilities **Hours + Rate**:24 hours per week, $20-$23/hour depending on experience and education. **Shifts**: 24 hours per week, with 1 FLEX hour over weekends to monitor social media. **Standard Hours**: - Mon: 10:30-6:30 - Tues: 1:00-8:00 - Wed: 10:30-6:30 **Additional Weekend Commitments**: Some weekend events (average of 1 per month) Dance Magic Studio is a dynamic, busy, and inclusive dance, music, aerial and performing arts studio that is proud to be locally owned and operated for 37 years. If you want to be a part of an arts organization that makes an impact in the lives of children and our community - then we want to hear from you. **Traits**: - Creative, "think outside the box" personality - Self-starter with a goal-oriented, “extra-mile” mentality - Positive, compassionate, and patient, with a good sense of humor - Self starter who naturally leads by example - Organized with strong attention to detail - Thrives in a fast paced, every changing environment - Lifelong learner with a growth mindset - Honest, loyal, and a team player **Skills & Qualifications**: - Experience in advertising and social media marketing - Proficient in print design, layout, and graphic design work in Canva - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities - Proficient in digital tools and platforms, including facebook ads, social media, and video editing - Photography/graphic design interests and abilities are a plus - Keen understanding of current trends and our target market **Responsibilities**: - **Administrative Tasks**: - Assist with enrollment, client onboarding, and program selection - Accept basic payments and maintain accurate records - Provide information about programs, classes, and schedules - Support sales by promoting various classes to prospective students - **Digital Media & Content Creation**: - Create and edit social media content (reels, posts, live stories) - Capture photos and videos to promote programs and highlight student achievements - Schedule and manage social media posts to build community engagement - Monitor and initiate Facebook ads and other digital campaigns - Stay updated on industry trends to produce relevant and appealing content - **Community Outreach & Marketing Strategy**: - Attend community events, trade shows, and performances - Develop and distribute advertising messages and promotional materials - Monitor and adjust marketing strategies for enrollment growth - Track the results of promotions and optimize future advertising efforts **Growth Areas**: - **Digital Marketing Strategy**: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to increase enrollment and drive website traffic - **Content Creation**: Produce videos, graphics, and other media to highlight programs and tell our story - **Online Advertising**: Manage Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other campaigns to maximize ROI - **Analytics & Reporting**: Monitor performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness **Qualifications**: - Diploma or Degree in one of the following is an asset: Communications, Business Marketing, or Public Relations - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and customer service abilities - Basic knowledge of dance and music programs (a plus) - Proficiency in digital media tools, social media platforms, and video editing - Creative mindset with a passion for content creation and community building - Previous experience in administration, marketing, or digital media is an asset If you are passionate about marketing, community outreach, and enrollment strategies, and thrive in a creative, fast paced, team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply **Application Process**: **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care Schedule: - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: - Red Deer, AB T4N 4K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Social Medial or Marketing: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-01 Expected start date: 2024-11-15
