The Operations & E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for keeping our back-end systems running smoothly and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order to delivery. This role bridges operations, fulfillment, and ecommerce—managing web orders, overseeing inventory accuracy, and supporting cross-departmental flow. This is a key position that touches nearly every part of the business.
You’ll manage incoming and outgoing inventory, oversee system accuracy in platforms like NetSuite, Shopify, and collaborate closely with the shipping and sales teams. If you’re detail-oriented, system-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment, this is the role for you.
**Key Responsibilities**
Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Manage the full lifecycle of web orders, from drafting to packing and shipping
- Monitor fulfillment timelines and resolve backorders or delays with proactive communication
- Track inventory levels across systems (NetSuite, Shopify, ShipStation) and ensure accuracy
- Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and system sync errors between platforms
- Coordinate incoming shipments with the receiving team to ensure prompt processing
- Update and maintain accurate product listings and pricing in NetSuite/Shopify
- Communicate low stock or missing items to procurement for timely reordering
- Work with couriers and vendors to track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Assist in building and maintaining SOPs for fulfillment, inventory, and operations
- Support the operations team with audits, reporting, and identifying process improvements
- Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to align inventory with promotions or new product launches
**Qualifications & Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you should be able to:
- Navigate software systems like NetSuite, Shopify, and ShipStation with confidence
- Work with Excel, order management tools, and inventory software daily
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both customers and internal teams
- Stay organized and detail-focused while handling multiple priorities
- Identify and resolve problems independently and efficiently
- Lift up to 50 lbs and assist with shipping/receiving tasks as needed
- Work proactively across departments to support operational flow
- Prior experience in ecommerce, fulfillment, inventory, or operations is preferred
- Knowledge of woodworking tools or hardware is an asset
Pay: $52,000.00-$62,400.00 per year
**Benefits**:
- Casual dress
- Dental care
- Extended health care
- On-site parking
- Paid time off
- Vision care
Schedule:
