Service Account Manager

Established in 1990, Airstream Heating & Air Conditioning has formed a reputation of providing excellent service at a great value. Since then, the company has grown from 3 employees to over 40 dedicated professionals in both the office and field. There are two areas of expertise that make up Airstream’s core competencies. The first being our Construction Department where our experienced team of installers and project managers bring everything from bid-spec to design-build projects to life. The second being our Service Department comprising of a team of talented technician’s responsible for maintaining, replacing, and servicing the HVAC equipment of our loyal customers.
With both these dynamic and ever-expanding departments driving large volumes of work, we are looking to expand our team. Airstream is looking for a Service Account Manager. The Service Account Manager is under the direction of the Service Manager with responsibilities that include preparing quotations, managing sales, and ensuring customer needs are met for Airstream’s existing service customers.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
**Sales/Estimating**
- Interfacing with the client directly to answer any questions and explain quotations, projects, or system designs,
- Collaborating directly with our technicians to process and prepare field generated repair quotes,
- Self-managing sales to ensure sales targets are met and clients’ needs are answered,
**General Coordination**
- Ensuring all client and project information is complete once order is ready for processing,
- Procuring equipment and parts to facilitate efficient installation,
- Scheduling work in partnership with operations, dispatch, and clients,
- Utilizing project management software to ensure sales, coordination, and scheduling are visible to all key stakeholders,
- Working with upper management and colleagues to continually execute strategy and improve systems and processes,
- Overseeing and managing all the quoted repairs throughout the department,
**Customer Service**
- Fielding customer complaints,
- Handling the client relationship,
- Informing client of progress updates,
- Maintaining customer satisfaction,
- Following up with clientele on past quotations, after major installations, and outstanding accounts receivables,
**End of Project**
- Ensuring all closeout documents are handed into the office including startups sheets,
- Ensuring maintenance contracts are updated or presented to the customer,
- Engaging with customers to confirm satisfaction and further develop the business relationship,
- Verifying margins were achieved and helping to improve them through various methods,
**Miscellaneous**
- Assisting with Shop management and End-of-day lock up of shop,
- Verifying, regularly, that all workers are following proper safety procedures on site and in the shop,
- Reporting safety infractions and incidents to the office and key project personnel within 24 hours of occurrence,
**Reporting**
- Generating and reviewing various reports to aid in executing quoted repairs effectively
