**ROLE**:National Account Manager Food Service
**REPORTS TO**:Sales Director East & Food Service
**LOCATION**:Vancouver OR Toronto
We are looking for a **National Account Manager Food Service** to join our Sales team The National Account Manager will play a crucial role in the growth and profitability of Earth’s Own. For the assigned customers, this individual will lead the development and execution of Earth’s Own annual sales plan, is accountable to achieve sales plan and trade spend targets, and build strong customer relationships.

This includes building strong customer relationships and influencing customer strategies and tactics in an evolving and exciting category Your top priority will be to deliver your annual sales plan. This includes ensuring distribution/presence across our distributors, commercial and non-commercial customer base. You will have the autonomy to build strategies which deliver against your sales and trade spend objectives. An analytical approach and bias for action will be critical to achieving your objectives and leaving your imprint on the business

- Youhave highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, AC Nielsen/Direct Link
- **Experience**_
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a CPG sales role, with focus in the Food Service Industry
- You have 3+ years in a key account role in the food/beverage category
- You have experience working directly with broker partners
- You have experience in Natural/Organic categories
- You have a relevant Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Business
**things you will do**
- Develops and implements a sales strategy for growing business with national/regional chains and major distributors. Works with customers to understand their strategies and integrates them with the Company strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, build effective plans and execute
- Own business relationships with distributors, and chain operators
- Develops sales reporting tools for both internal and external use: AC Nielsen/Direct Link, internal sales figures and customer data
- Prepares expense reports and submits on time. Monitors expenses against budget
**OTHER **
- You have the ability to travel (5-10% of time)

**Detailed Description of Duties**:
- Prepares Food service plans to support national strategy
- Reports regularly on performance against strategy and provides recommendations for course correction
- Manages a trade spend budget within company guidelines
- Develops relationships with key contacts in distributors, contract management companies, commercial and non commercial customers, monitors their needs and makes recommendations for improved sales
- Identifies and communicates opportunities
- Provides training in product knowledge
- Develops budgets and forecasts for individual brands as well as categories. ensures performance meet or exceeds forecasts
- Makes recommendations for new product introductions based on feedback from customers
- Meets with customers to understand their needs and priorities and integrates feedback to account plans and market analysis
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
