**Inventory Control Specialist** PURPLE was founded in 2017 at the intersection of industrial design, streetwear, and luxury fashion. A collective of friends and industry veterans set out to launch a collection of men’s denim and luxury basics. We are currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity by performing daily discrepancy investigation and analysis. **Responsibilities include**: - Develop and implement strategies to achieve inventory accuracy goals, gaining acceptance from stakeholders. - Manage and coordinate cycle counts, including physical counts, to maintain accurate inventory records. - Conduct thorough investigations and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies (book to physical), performing root cause analysis to identify underlying issues. - Take necessary actions to resolve inventory issues and adjust as required. - Analyze and generate reports on inventory count data for relevant stakeholders. - Provide support to team members by assisting with ad-hoc reporting and analytical activities as needed. - Process returns to vendor requests and manages receiving activities. - Proactively anticipate inventory discrepancies and address business needs accordingly. - Work with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure smooth inventory management. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects. **Requirements**: - Business education background. - 3-4 years experience in the industry or a similar role. - Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office software. - Advanced/proficient skills in Excel, including expertise in functions like "VLOOKUP" and "SUMIF" and the ability to work with large data sets. - Advanced experience working with NetSuite and Warehouse Management Systems. - Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize duties, multitask, and excel in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical, critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills. - Ability to travel internationally. **Perks and Benefits**: - Extended medical and health coverage that includes medical, dental and vision. - Basic life insurance and disability. - Generous employee discount and product allowance. - Annual bonus based on performance. - Fun, casual office environment. **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Vancouver, BC V5T 1A6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Are you legally eligible to work Full-Time in Canada?
