Inventory Controller

Reporting to the Global Logistics & Materials Manager, the Inventory Controller performs inventory control activities including parts kitting, cycle counting, and stockroom and finished goods organization on a daily basis.
**What will you do as an Inventory Controller?**:
- Adheres to ESD protection and ensures that electronics and optics are handled appropriately.
- Picks inventory from the stockroom and verifies part number and revision prior to kitting.
- Prints different product labels per request.
- Ensures Finish Goods and Main inventory is well organized, labeled, clean, and accessible at all times.
- Manage Consumable Inventory in production, ensure parts are ordered and replenished within appropriate lead time.
- Puts away incoming parts from Receiving and Quality.
- Carries out inventory cycle counting activities and participates in inventory quarterly and annual count activities.
- Assists Shipping by picking items for orders when needed.
- Ensures no unauthorized part movement without an appropriate inventory transaction in Netsuite.
- Other duties as required.
- Adheres to all approval processes before completing appropriate inventory adjustments.
- Act as backup Shipper/Receiver in the event of absences.
- Proactively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual.
**What do you need to be successful?**:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of inventory management experience is preferred.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in an ESD-safe environment is preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proven track record of quality and performance.
- Good attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
