The Lead Receiver / Inventory Control Associate is required to assist in ensuring that all production orders and purchase orders (POs) are received in timely manner and to work cooperatively and productively with the Warehouse Manager, Quality Control, and other Associates to maintain tight control over the company’s finished goods and raw material inventory with Production Team. This is a full-time Monday to Friday permanent position from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working with the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager to plan for the most efficient way to store inbound product and ensure there is enough locations and space for all product before it arrives.
- Ensuring that all work orders are received into warehouse by 9:30am each day from Production.
- Receive shipments, check for damages, and sort stock for distribution in the warehouse. Working with the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager to research all reported short and/or over shipments.
- Keep up with movement of all merchandise in the warehouse.
- Ensuring PROD QC location is checked weekly for failed product and adjustments are made.
- Replenishing pick locations and organized overstock locations as time permits.
- Updating WMS when removing overstock or moving pick locations, with the help of Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager.
- Help Warehouse Associates moving discontinued products and updating locations in WMS.
- Keeping current with product knowledge
- Perform and keep records on daily inspections on Forklift, Order Picker, and Hand Jacks.
- Attending to other related warehouse duties as assigned from time to time.

**GOALS AND OBJECTIVES**
- Learned all warehouse performing tasks/duties. (i.e., picking, counts, etc)
- Working with the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager to find the most efficient placement of product to increase the teams’ lines picked per hour.
- Obtaining 100% accuracy on receiving and cycle counting inventory
- Ensuring bin locations are accurate and updated for all finished goods.
- Keeping warehouse always organized and tidy.
- Help preparing warehouse for yearend inventory season.
- Learn and Understand WMS Software and Latitude.
- Learn and Understand transfer between virtual warehouse locations.
- Keep good communication between Warehouse, Quality Control, Production and Purchasing Teams at all times.

**IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS**

Education and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience, an asset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic Microsoft word and excel experience/knowledge.
- RF Gun knowledge and operation.
- Inventory control management.
- Stand up reach truck and order picker experience and/or licence as asset.

**Knowledge, Abilities, and skills**
- Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds and occasionally lift to 60 pounds.
- Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
- Requires the ability to appreciate and understand the opportunities, challenges, and limitations of a small business.
- Requires the ability to solve problems.
- Requires the ability to work long hours during peak periods.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
