Sterling Rivers is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Data and Inventory Coordinator to join our team
As a Junior Data and Inventory Coordinator at Sterling Rivers, your role involves collecting, analyzing, and cleaning data to optimize supply chain operations. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to efficient inventory management and informed decision-making. With proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and excellent attention to detail, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth flow of our supply chain processes.

**Here’s what you need to know about this opportunity**:

- Temporary 3-month contract with possibility of extension or full-time employment
- 24-40 hours a week (flexible)
- On-Site role, 1245 Caledonia Road #200, North York
- Start date: ASAP

**And here’s what we need from the person who fills this role**:Data Consolidation and Organization**:

- Gather and compile data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data clean up and transformation as necessary to prepare it for analysis.
- Utilize advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel for detailed data analysis, focusing on inventory levels, order details, and EDI information.
- Ensure data accuracy through thorough careful cross-checking and consolidation processes.
- Employ Google Sheets/Excel for detailed data analysis, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Produce clear, concise reports and visualizations to communicate insights.
- Support the supply chain team with data-driven insights and recommendations.

**Documentation and Filing**:

- Track and file inbound container information and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory counts and quality assurance data.
- Organize documentation to facilitate easy access and retrieval as needed.

**Inventory Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the team to manage inbound and outbound inventory effectively.
- Work with EDI systems to manage and analyze data related to product incidence.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate closely with the supply chain department to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate information exchange and problem resolution.

We are looking for someone with the following experience and attributes:

- Post secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to handle documentation and inventory records with precision and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Bonus points if you have**:

- Experience with data analysis and inventory management.
- Experience in using supply chain management software and Google Suite.
