**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Process and complete full payroll bi-weekly cycle; Enter employee time sheets daily, review for accuracy, maintain employee files.
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, adhering to various deadlines.
- Provide general accounting support throughout the full accounting cycle.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare reconciliations such as bank, credit card and employee expenses.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ability to work in a professional setting and ensure complete confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform general office duties (filing, photocopying, etc.) and other responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Provide administrative support by typing reports, memos, and other documents as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication among all parties involved.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
**Skills**
- Minimum Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in full cycle accounting.
- Residential construction experience considered and asset.
- Working knowledge of General Ledger and Chart of Account structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- General understanding of computerized accounting systems, experience working with Sage 100 Contractor considered an asset.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.04-$31.25 per hour
