**Sturgeon Creek II Retirement Residence**, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is looking for a **Maintenance Manager** to join our team

As the Maintenance Manager you would be responsible for the general maintenance, servicing and repair operations to maintain the residence, equipment, furnishings, fixtures and the surrounding grounds in proper condition. As well as preventive maintenance, in this hand-on role, you would solve day-to-day maintenance issues, manage maintenance contracts, and respond to residents maintenance needs.

The successful applicant will have:

- Proven experience in the maintenance of equipment and building systems, including a basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
- Ability to self-regulate and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Preventative maintenance.
- Inspection and maintenance of facilities to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
- Responding to emergency situations.
- Maintaining an adequate inventory of day to day supplies.
