Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager acts as a resource to, and provides recommendations to the General Manager and through the General Manager to the appropriate support areas within the Canad organization. The Manager is responsible for ensuring the Canad standards relating to maintenance are met or exceeded including required repairs and housekeeping of your Canad Inns property. The Manager will comply with all standards and provide ongoing updates to the General Manager of the facility and the Corporate Facilities Management team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Developing and implementing maintenance strategies for the department. Ensures adherence to the Canad Inns standards of maintenance quality, repairs, and upkeep. Inspects and ensures safety controls and facility equipment on an on-going basis. Coordinates the inventory, purchasing and disbursement of all maintenance supplies. Assures proper staffing and adequate supplies for responsible service areas including leadership and development of team Takes appropriate action to maintain operations.
