**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- 1. Supervision and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and housekeeping staff. Assign tasks, schedule work shifts, and provide training and guidance to the team.
- 2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for the hotel's equipment, systems, and facilities; Regularly inspect and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment.
- 3. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff; Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and general building maintenance; Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary.
- 4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct safety inspections and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain records of safety inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- 5. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Order and restock supplies as needed while staying within budget constraints.
- 6. Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the maintenance department budget. Monitor and control expenses, seeking cost-effective solutions.
- 7. Guest Satisfaction: Prioritize guest requests and resolve maintenance issues to ensure a positive guest experience. Address guest complaints related to maintenance promptly and professionally.
- 8. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duty for emergency maintenance issues outside of regular working hours. Respond to and manage emergency situations effectively.
- 9. Vendor and Contractor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Obtain competitive quotes for repair projects and negotiate contracts.
- 10. Environmental Sustainability: Implement environmentally friendly practices and energy-saving initiatives; Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and certifications.
- 11. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment inventory. Generate regular reports on maintenance performance and budget utilization. Provide updates to senior management on the status of maintenance projects.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
