**Job Summary**
We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Business Analyst with 4+ years experience in being a key contributor or leading SAP projects through the phases of analysis, design, configuration and implementation in a complex Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales environment. Work directly with clients and system vendors at all levels of the organization to help identify and clarify business needs, facilitate workshops, gather and document specific business and functional requirements, working independently or collaboratively with Project managers & Developers to execute software projects. Construct detailed analysis, interface specifications, and process models including data dictionaries.
**Principal Responsibilities**
- Builds and manages stakeholder relationships including business users, vendors, customers, project team members and management leaders.
- Identifies creative solution to business requirements, analyses the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives and provides capabilities recommendations.
- Prepare business scenarios to defend process requirements and deviations/exceptions to standard design.
- Gather and communicate all the necessary requirements that support the delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives, and meet stakeholder needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and works with the development teams or external suppliers to transfer them into technology solutions.
- Leads and participates in User Acceptance Testing sessions for confirmation of requirements implementation prior to deployment.
- Identifies and communicates risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope.
- Effectively manages changes and conflicts during requirements gathering process, get approval and design sign-off from the business.
- Ensures appropriate stakeholders are involved and obtain required information for capturing and validating requirements and other artifacts.
- Help the business to quantify the improvement opportunity through data and estimates.
- Educate stakeholders on benefits of changes and acquire their buy-in.
- Collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders to drive efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives activity and track that it is completed as scheduled.
- Communicate progress, risks, barriers, and status on a regular basis.
- Assist process owners in realizing/holding gains through control plans.
- Analyze, cleanse, identify and create new master data elements to support data migration activities.
- Utilize Proof of concept to test and validate design decisions.
- Develop training documents for end users.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Computer Science, or other related fields
- 4+ years of proven experience designing and improving processes and user experiences for complex manufacturing organizations - preference in Process Manufacturing.
- Process Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Logistics and Distribution
- Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements, design, configuring and implementing SAP S/4 or ECC, SCM, APO, PPDS, SAP IBP, Power BI ERP KPI’s
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and influence at all levels of the organization, tailoring succinct and focused messages to different audiences. Strong written and verbal communication and meeting facilitation & presentation skills, proven at all levels from process performer to business leaders. Ability to influence by communicating factual project/process related information based on analyses.
- Proven ability to direct and collaborate with resources without direct management responsibility. Ability to identify, mitigate and escalate risk to project deliverables. Ability to track and organize tasks and issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively engage the business community in the adoption journey and articulate scenarios into concrete impacts to their day-in-the-life and understand a wide variety of perspectives and enroll users into their new ways of working. Some experience in training or assisting end users.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required. Strong business acumen and experience working in Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales. Experience in working in a cross-functional and multi-vendor environment is preferred.
