**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including office supplies, equipment, and space management, with opportunities to implement new systems and processes.
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and appointments, adapting as needs shift and evolve.
- Help maintain and improve filing systems (digital and physical), exploring new tools to increase efficiency and organization.
- Assist in organizing office events, team-building activities, and company-wide initiatives as our company culture continues to develop.
- Provide support across departments, taking on new responsibilities and projects as needed in a rapidly changing environment.
- Assist bookkeeper with accounts payable, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with accounts receivable, including invoicing clients, tracking payments, and ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist with billing processes, ensuring proper documentation and communication with clients regarding payments and outstanding balances.
- Troubleshoot office-related issues and identify solutions that improve overall office functionality and employee experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in office administration, office management, or a related role, with experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software or tools as needed.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a changing environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with taking on evolving responsibilities and collaborating across teams.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary degree preferred.
