Toronto, Canada Kingsway Academy Full time

Kingsway Academy is an international private boarding high school located on Western University campus in London, Ontario. It’s currently exploring the recruiting market in Japan. A skilled Japanese translator will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our institution and Japanese-speaking schools, study abroad agents, government, and individuals.

**Responsibilities**:
l Research Japanese schools and study abroad agents contact information online. Translate those written information from Japanese to English accurately.

l Contact Japanese schools and study abroad agents by phone/online tools for collecting necessary information.

l Support Japanese-speaking representatives from schools and agents in Japan by providing interpretation services during meetings, phone calls, and other interactions.

l Assist the Marketing Specialist to make promotion materials in Japanese

l Maintain proficiency in both Japanese and English languages and stay updated on relevant terminology and education field trend.

Qualifications:
l Fluency in Japanese and English languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

l Previous experience in translation, interpretation, or related fields are preferred.

l Experience in marketing, education, or related fields is an asset.

l Ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in person, over the phone, and via online platforms

l Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines.

l Available to work at nights and weekends if necessary.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
