**Accounts Receivable Clerk**

**Main Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Establish credit limit/ terms to customers through company policy.
- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Process orders / approve shipments in collaboration with order and sales department.
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Reconciliation of Canadian and US major accounts.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.
- Process credit card payments.

**Key Skills and Competencies**
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Bi-lingual, spoken and written.)
- Organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and collection procedures, preferably in the garment industry.

**Salary**

**Principales tâches et responsabilités**
- Établir la limite de crédit / les conditions pour les clients par le biais de la politique de l’entreprise.
- Effectuer des activités de facturation, de recouvrement et de reporting selon des délais précis.
- Traiter les commandes / approuver les expéditions en collaboration avec le service des commandes et des ventes.
- Assurer, percevoir et allouer les paiements.
- Surveiller les détails des comptes clients pour détecter les impayés, les retards de paiement et autres irrégularités
- Rapprochement des comptes majeurs canadiens et américains.
- Rechercher et résoudre les écarts de paiement.
- Tenir à jour les dossiers et les dossiers des clients des comptes clients.
- Traiter les paiements par carte de crédit.

**Aptitudes et compétences clés**
- Souci du détail et de la précision.
- Bonnes compétences en communication verbale et écrite (bilingue, parlé et écrit).
- Sens de l’organisation.
- Solide connaissance des comptes clients et des procédures de recouvrement, de préférence dans l’industrie du vêtement.
