Working under the direct supervision of the Controller, the Accounting Clerk’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
**Accounts Payable**:

- Review and post all invoices, bills etc. as per internal coding practices.
- Review vendor statements to confirm payment, obtain missing information from vendor.
- Complete Weekly payment runs (EFT) to our vendors.
- Set up new vendor accounts or make changes as necessary in the vendor master files.
- Send out payment advices after EFT payments have been made to vendors

**Accounts Receivable**:

- Set up new customer accounts or make changes as necessary in the customer master files.
- Receive customer and/or vendors at the reception.


**Key Competencies and Behavioral Attributes**:

- Good communication skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
- Strong mathematical and computer operating skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated accuracy, neatness and professionalism within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with a variety of computer programs, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years accounting experience, similar role preferred.
- Spoken and written: French and English.
