Caron is currently recruiting an Accounting Administrator on a **temporary, three (3) month basis with the possibility of an extension**. This role is based out of our Head Office in Sherwood Park with typical office hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

The Accounting Administrator reports directly to the Accounting Manager and Accounting Supervisor. They are responsible for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for Caron USA including invoicing, fuel reporting, the auditing of Driver pay, and administration.
- 2+ Years related experience
- Knowledge of trucking industry considered an asset
- Diploma or Certificate in related field an asset

**Job Duties**:

- Administrative Responsibilities
- Process tickets to coincide with driver pay
- Invoicing; manipulate and enter trip report and tickets, verify driver pay and customer charges
- Contact customer for billing discrepancies when necessary
- Communicate with US Staff regarding invoicing and driver/carrier pay issues
- Audit company driver pay and prepare for payroll
- Match purchase orders to invoices; enter invoices into Axon and perform regular cheque runs
- Monitor time sensitive invoices and ensure payment of same
- Download and process fuel invoices for payment
- Analyze trip reports for accuracy
- Balance bulk fuel inventory monthly
- Balance fuel tax monthly in conjunction with DISA and prepare documents for storage
- Reconcile and issue payments to government agencies
- Research origin/destination locations through online sources
- Maintain unit files in regards to fuel tax
- Approve quarterly IFTA tax returns from DISA and process payment of same
- General office duties such as photocopying, filing, ordering supplies, etc.
- Meets all required deadlines
- Other administrative tasks as required
- Perform assigned tasks in accordance with the Caron QMS and production standards required by the Company and the industry as a whole
