**Job Description**:
We are in need of an Accounts Payable Administrator to jump in and assist our accounting department on a 6 month temporary basis.

This position will be located out of our Sherwood Park office. Hybrid/WFH schedule available._**

**What would you be doing?**
- Match invoices to receipts and purchase orders; resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Process Non-PO invoices; collect coding and approvals.
- Review and authorize employee expenses
- Respond to vendor inquires within a timely manner.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare weekly payment batches
- Assist with the setup for new suppliers
- Maintain listing of accounts payable and the general ledger.
- Reconcile payments and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Prepare bank reconciliation.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
- Assist in month-end working paper file preparation.

**Does this sound like you?**
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with high volume processing and tight deadlines.
- Experience with inter-company transaction considered an asset.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization and external clients.
