What your day and week could look like
Reporting to the Income and Funding Manager, a Income Analyst plays an essential role in mitigating risk by verifying and validating consumer information and the accuracy of documentation provided for fulfillment of an auto loan. This includes:
- Responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and escalations from Sales team and Dealer partners.
- Ensuring required service levels are met for Income inbox by completing responses or escalating appropriately.
- Assisting in the maintenance of productivity and quality reports and reviews
- Providing prompt and effective direction to the Income team on queue management tactics to ensure service level requirements are met.
- Working the most vulnerable queues during times of high volumes to help maintain required service levels.
- Aiding in training and mentoring of new team members.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with dealer partners, sales team as well as internal departments.
- Participating and/or leading departmental initiatives and action plans as requested.
How you bring your passion for success
- Two to three years experience in consumer lending with solid ability to read and understand varied types of proof of income documents.
- Credit experience is an asset; additional credit training will occur.
- A high degree of accuracy within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities with a sense of urgency, while remaining calm and controlled in the face of challenges.
- Motivation and drive towards continuous learning and growth within your role and the company.
- Dedicated team player who takes pride in assisting others and helping others grow; enjoys being a “go-to” team member for guidance.
