The Opportunity
The Regions West Marketing team is looking for a Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist to join our regional business enablement services team. The Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining an internal communications strategy and knowledge portal that supports the regional strategic business priorities. The individual will develop consistent messaging to the organization's internal stakeholders, ensuring language and style is consistent with the overall employer branding, corporate culture and values.
As knowledge portal owner, this role will be responsible to work with the firm's Knowledge & Collaboration team to ensure content and site design is relevant, up to date, and easy to navigate.
**What you will do
- Work with stakeholders to collate news, updates and messages, advise on language and distribution, and execute for maximum impact
- Develop and maintain a program to celebrate success (i.e. new clients and strategic wins)
- Understand business needs and ensure information is made available to the right customers at the right time
- Develop and maintain an internal Regions West Knowledge Portal
- Develop job aids, videos and helpful content to allow easy access to the Knowledge Portal
- Develop, promote and use new, innovative ways of communicating with stakeholders.
- Employ tools within our approved digital stack including SharePoint, KPMG's Intranet, Microsoft Teams and other systems/tools to be determined to support sales enablement and other business priorities
- Manage and report on the impact of the communications strategy and execution, ensure consistent service delivery, identify areas to increase value, mitigate issues, and bring solutions that align with the regional strategic business priorities
**What you bring to the role
- 3+ years of experience in an administration, knowledge management, communications or sales enablement environment.
- Certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree or in business administration, knowledge management, communications, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Microsoft Teams. Working knowledge and experience with SharePoint is an asset.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to grasp business objectives and translate into actionable technical and functional requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and proven knowledge management and project management skills.
- A quick study with proprietary software and processes, with the willingness to learn and prepare various content on several different platforms.
- Resourceful, self-starter with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, sound judgement and a collaborative, team-oriented style.
- Results-oriented with track record of achieving goals; strong implementation capability.
