**Salary**: $2,626.89 to $3,448.73 bi-weekly ($68,561- $90,011 /year)
The Ministry of Indigenous Relations works with Indigenous communities, the federal government, industry and other stakeholders to support strong, vibrant Indigenous communities and people who fully participate in a prosperous, competitive and diverse Alberta.
The ministry is also responsible for:
- Promoting social and economic opportunities for Indigenous Peoples
- Co-leading Indigenous training for all Alberta public servants
- Working with other ministries to develop opportunities for Indigenous Peoples to influence land and resource management decisions.
The Strategic Engagement and Policy Innovation (SEPI) branch is part of the Consultation, Land and Policy (CLP) division in Indigenous Relations. SEPI provides a strong foundation of policy development, strategic engagement, consultation capacity development, expert advice and relationship-building through education, training, and capacity funding.
**Role Responsibilities**:

**Key Responsibilities Includes**:
- Develop And Implement Knowledge Management Strategies
- Coordinate and Administer Records Management Systems
- Evaluate and Enhance Quality Control Mechanisms
- Facilitate Workshops and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Evaluate Knowledge Management Tools and Process
- Make Recommendations on Improvements to Knowledge/Information Management Systems.
- Provide Guidance and Support to Staff on Information Management Best Practices and Tools.
- Conduct Research and Reporting
- Stay Informed on Knowledge Management Trends and Relevant Policies

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirement**: A minimum of a university degree in a related field (Library Sciences, Information Management, Knowledge Management) and two years of related experience.
**Equivalency**: Directly related education or experience may be considered based on:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.
