Key Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of forklift operators engaged in the following duties: shipping, receiving, storing, and maintaining inventories of raw material.
- Co-ordinating with the production manager; raw material requirements, scheduling transportation, routes, and related activities.
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish delivery schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues, prepare, and submit progress and other reports and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Record detailed shipping/receiving documentation.
- Rotate stock and conduct inventory cycle counts.
- Maintain internal, manual, and computerized record-keeping systems (BV/Sage, Inventory Control System).
- Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping.
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate on additional related and warehouse tasks as required, following the guidance of the Controller.

Qualifications:

- College degree or equivalent is required.
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Computer skills - specifically with Microsoft Office
- Forklift certification and any other workplace safety certifications an asset
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Able to work efficiently both independently as well as in a team setting
- An excellent command of written and oral English is required
- Food industry experience preferred
- Regular exposure to noise, cold temperatures, humidity and dry conditions. Continuous exposure to production equipment, moving objects (forklifts) and frequent interruptions.

Working Hours:

- Hours of operations are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00pm.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
