Shipper/receiver/forklift Operator

We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver for a client located in Toronto. They are a leading distributor of frames, sunglasses, lenses, and lab services.

**Responsibilities**:
Shipping:

- Match invoice and shipping label, pack, and ship
- Package and prepare large orders for shipping to customers.
- Navigate ICS shipping systems and assist with Purolator, Canada Post shipping systems when necessary.
- Consolidate special customer shipments and assist with branch consolidation when needed.
- Assist in shipping of packages for sale representatives on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate and pack pick-up orders.
- Notifying Supervisor when shipping products need to be ordered.
- Operate and maintain box folding machine.

Receiving:

- Receiving and placing of the ICS cages and bins daily
- Receive and deliver incoming mail and packages to different departments.
- Receiving of Lens/Frames products
- Deal with courier deliveries and deliver to the different departments.

Other Duties:

- Operate Forklift
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe loading dock area.
- Work with multiple supervisors and various non-operation departments as necessary
- General Housekeeping
- Performing any other duties as requested by the supervisor in other areas of distribution as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Able to lift to 30 lbs.
- Forklift certification is required.
- Must be able to use other material handling devices, i.e., pump truck, two-wheeler, or cart.
- Safety Shoes are a requirement and must be worn in the Lab and Warehouse facilities.

**Location**: North York

**Shift time**: 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon - Fri)

**Pay Rate**: $18/hr.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
