**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a hands-on Shipper Receiver Supervisor to lead our shipping and receiving team at our fresh vegetable and fruit processing facility in Toronto. This role involves overseeing a team of forklift operators and warehouse staff, ensuring timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. You’ll work closely with your team to maintain inventory accuracy and uphold our commitment to efficiency and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support a team of forklift operators and warehouse staff in daily shipping and receiving tasks.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of fresh produce shipments using forklifts and other equipment.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate forklifts and assist the team during high-volume periods.
- Conduct physical inventory counts (including large volumes of produce and packaging material) and perform reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Manage the rotation and movement of inventory across multiple locations within the facility to optimize storage and freshness.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and proper storage conditions for fresh produce.
- Train team members on safe forklift operation and warehouse procedures.
- Address and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies or delays in collaboration with other departments.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment in line with WSIB and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a certificate or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid forklift operator certification and hands-on experience operating forklifts.
- Experience in a food processing or perishable goods environment is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work alongside your team.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated warehouse setting.
- Flexible availability, including potential weekend or early morning shifts.
- Must have Permanent Resident (PR) or Canadian Citizen status.
