Job Title:   Intermediate Programmer Analyst (DBA) Location: Ottawa, Ontario (Hybrid) K1A 0K2 Duration: 06 - 08 Months Job Description: The role involves the design, development, integration, implementation, and ongoing support of enterprise database solutions within complex, multi-tier information systems. It includes providing database administration, data integration, and technical analysis services in support of mission-critical applications operating in a multi-platform environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 60 months of demonstrated experience in IM/IT in a technical role Minimum 12 months (within the last 60 months) of experience designing, developing, and/or supporting integrations between two or more information system components using protocols such as HL7, Web Services, BizTalk, MQ Series, or WebSphere Minimum 18 months (continuous) experience on a single project involving design, development, and resolution of implementation issues for an information system comprised of two or more integrated applications in a virtual 3-tier or greater environment Minimum 12 months of experience programming custom applications using C and/or C#, including development, testing, implementation, operation, and maintenance Minimum 24 months of experience with middleware and/or web services supporting data exchange between multiple information systems, including development, testing, implementation Preferred Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated experience in information system and database troubleshooting with documented diagnosis, analysis, and recommendations Experience documenting database and system requirements Completion of one or more formal Options Analyses for new or enhanced database functionality Experience supporting electronic form (e-Form) platforms and associated data repositories Experience working in complex, integrated, multi-platform enterprise IT environments Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, implement, maintain, and optimize relational database solutions supporting multi-tier applications Ensure database availability, performance, integrity, and security Develop, test, implement, and maintain custom applications and database components using C and/or C# Design, develop, and support integrations between two or more information systems Perform information system and database troubleshooting, including documented diagnosis, problem analysis, and recommendations Company Benefits & Culture Enterprise, multi-application database and integration environment Collaboration with application developers, system architects, analysts, and business stakeholders Combination of new system development, enhancements, and operational support For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
