Overview:

BA - Tech Consulting Inc.
is seeking an experienced
Intermediate Business Analyst
to support a public sector client. The selected candidate will act as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME)
, supporting the business requirements related to
information systems modernization and records management
.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives;
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
  • Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems;
  • Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems;
  • Establish acceptance test criteria with client; and
  • Support and use the selected departmental methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with all stakeholders on the project to understand operational requirements, incorporate feedback and ensure alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Certificate, diploma, or degree in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Programming, or Business Analysis/Analytics.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
  • Certification:
    CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) designation is considered a strong asset.
  • Security:
    Must hold a valid Secret-level security clearance or be eligible for a PSPC (formerly PWGSC) Secret clearance with the Government of Canada.
