Be our next **Intermediate Performance Analyst**

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the **Major Projects team, **based in Ottawa, ON office. **(12-month contract).
**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Independently source, transform, analyze, and visualize data from various systems, requiring expert utilization of such as Excel and Power BI
- Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve data errors efficiently
- Use advanced understanding of Excel to:

- create dynamic arrays to optimize workflow and quickly clean data
- use nested formulas to perform complex data transformations
- and collect, analyze and format data upon request
- Use proficiency in Power BI to perform the following:

- Load and transform data into Power BI from Excel or SharePoint
- Create mínimalistic, insightful, and interactive visualizations
- Produce a meaningful storytelling narrative in a dashboard format
- Interact with all teams in Project Management in a technically demanding environment, while learning new concepts and expanding your knowledge base of the design engineering industry
- Collecting and building performance narratives that align with the status of the project. Applicant must be able to display solid deductive abilities to identify the reasons for strong or poor project performance
- Support various components of Performance Management (Timesheet Approval, SOPs, Info Packages)
- Acting with independence and providing regular updates to all members of the Performance Management team, leadership and executives, as needed

**What your experience looks like**
- 2-3 years of advanced Excel experience (using nested functions, dynamic arrays)
- 1-2 years of in-depth Power BI knowledge
- The ability to communicate complex data and metrics through simplified dashboards and visuals
- Analytical and pragmatic approach to information
- Excellent communication skills in a professional environment
- Desire to learn new skills and enhance technical knowledge
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining deadlines
- Bilingualism (English/French) is desirable
