The impact you will have:

The Director, Cloud Solutions will bring a combination of people management experience, agile program management experience, and a demonstrated passion for customer experience and satisfaction. The Director, Cloud Solutions owns public and hybrid cloud professional services portfolio and product management and will be responsible for effectively landing our offers and services in market. In addition to Product Management of existing offers, incubation and launch of our most critical services will be a core responsibility.

You will also manage all direct reports from the Cloud Solution Development Team by managing day-to-day solution development operations, will own the cloud professional solutions portfolio, and be responsible for integration and efficacy between Services, Architecture, Solutions & Vendors of our in-market services. The Director, Cloud Solutions will also be responsible for ensuring the services delivery teams have the guidance they need to enable delivery of the solutions. As part of our Go To Market leadership team, enabling our Pre-Sales and Specialty Sales leadership and the associated teams will be a core role responsibility. This includes working with cross-functional teams in Marketing and GTM to deliver leads and targets to our pre-sales and sales organizations. Finally, the Director, Cloud Solutions will also support the Solutions and Alliances Leadership team with analysis required to make informed prioritization decisions as well as estimate work stream timeframes and associated resource costs for projects workstreams assigned.

What you’ll do:

  • Team Leadership
  • Manage a team of professionals and their assigned workstreams and priorities.
  • Provide experience-based input to the direction of Softchoice’s Cloud services strategy and help to shape the future our cloud services business.
  • Lead by example required team interactions with Softchoice LOBs such as Sales, Specialty Sales, Cloud Presales Architecture, Category Leadership, AI, Services, and others.
  • Conduct personal development planning for team members with support and alignment to overall cascaded goals.

  • Services and PreSales Support and Enablement:
    • Manage workstreams to support providing of presales guidance for the cloud solutions portfolio.
    • Lead team efforts with Sales and Presales to enable the selling of solutions offerings in development or already generally available.
    • Win buy-in and alignment with key leaders in Pre-Sales, Specialty Sales, Category, and Services leadership teams to ensure effectiveness in execution of solution launch
    • Manage and ensure delivery of enablement plan to presales and services.



  • Cloud Solution Development and Technical Vendor Management
    • Manage Solution/Product development by implementing agile and product management methodologies providing direction including setting expectations, delegating, and collecting deliverables from direct and indirect reports.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to align to sales and delivery enablement, preview client acquisition for the New Service Introduction (NSI) processes for solutions development regarding Softchoice’s services offerings.
    • Maintain activity tracking and metrics as well as reporting of such information to the rest of the business
    • Lead go to market activities with the draft creation of or approval of marketing and presentation materials, working with solutions marketing team to refine messaging and marketing materials.
    • Support the acquisition of client opportunities that include cutting edge alignment within cloud solutions development or for highly custom & complex customer opportunities to be cloud as an SME on our cloud solutions portfolio.
    • Work with representatives from categories to align with vendor partners on programs and solution releases and associated go to market activities as the representative of Softchoice for relevant portfolio considerations.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Demonstrable experience with product management, innovation and or go to market leadership principals
  • Go to market experience with existing and newly deployed services
  • People leadership and direct management experience
  • Experience with business analysis, KPI identification and reporting.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Services or Development Management, application development, IT administration and or IT management, consulting, technical sales or sales leadership, professional services and/or software engineering will be rewarded
  • Demonstrated experience coaching direct reports and developing efficiency focused teamwork models
