Job Details
- Location: Markham, ON
- Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time, in a hybrid/onsite structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
- Duration: May 2025 through August 2026
We are seeking highly motivated Computer Science/Information Technology intern/co-op to join our team. In this role, you will be part of the Business Operations (Biz Ops) team for the Data Center GPU Business Unit. As part of the Biz Ops team, you will help establish the reporting to the Director of Business Management, support our Product Management, Business Planning, and Business Development activities to promote our worldwide DC GPU solutions. As such, you will regularly be updating and keeping track of reporting infrastructure in Microsoft Excel and other tools.
Key Responsibilities
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- Analyzing current business processes, identifying critical areas for improvement, and subsequently implementing solutions for use within our team

- Updating numerous internal documents and systems used to align supply and demand with Sales, Finance, and Product Management teams
- Collecting and consolidating data from various file locations to generate informative business reports
- Analytics to support product planning, product lifecycle management.
- Support Business Management needs as required, including, but not limited to, reporting weekly inventory and attainment
- Main tools: Power Automate, MSFT Forms, Sharepoint Lists, Sharepoint Webpages, Team, PowerBI (all the Microsoft tools), JIRA, Agile
- Preparing and/or managing internal and external product & technology presentations needed for executive meetings
- Weekly staff meetings to discuss tasks and team updates for the upcoming week

- You will have the opportunity to work across multiple levels and functions and touch many areas of the business across the product lifecycles of AMD's fastest growing products/technologies and customer base
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Effective teamwork in cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage various weekly/monthly/quarterly reports with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to be self-motivated to implement projects
- Strong interest in the computer graphics and PC industry
- MS Office proficiency with strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, etc.) and some exposure to Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Forms.
- Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint
- Strong understanding in reporting, financial analysis, cost-tracking, and business acumen.
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics & Statistics)
- Familiarity/interest in Business/Financial analysis
- Experience with data processing and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau is an asset
- Experience with automation using tools such as Excel VBA is an asset
- Familiarity/Interest in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
