Currently seeking: Independent Sales Representative – HPC(Harman Professional audio brands) for Western Canada(Manitoba-Saskatchewan-Alberta-British Columbia)
JAM Industries, a leading distributor of consumer electronic goods, pro-audio equipment and musical instruments, is currently seeking a talented, resourceful, confident candidate to join our team as Sales Representative for HPC handling , British Columbia, Alberta and Prairies. Reporting to the Divisional V.P., the Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and managing brands within the territory and/or specific accounts by contacting prospective new customers and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Specific Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Servicing existing accounts, performing staff training seminars, merchandising goods and coordinating promotions when needed;
- Cold calling prospects;
- Following up with new/existing customers, leads, and opportunities;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and ensuring customers are informed of current and new products;
- Attending trade shows, educational seminars, and sales meetings, as required;
- Providing excellent customer service and develop strong customer relationships;
- Communicate effectively and provide field reports as requested;
- Minimum 5 years of Pro Audio Independent Sales Representative experience
- Knowledge of territory and commercial retailers and installers
- Able to work with all customer levels including consultants, etc.
- Experience with, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Able to work closely with management to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Independent Sales Representatives are paid commission on net sales to specific customers within the territory.
- Independent Sales Representatives are independent contractors and not employees of Jam Industries or any of our divisions

Les Industries JAM Ltée, un leader dans le domaine de la distribution de matériel électronique grand public, d’équipement de sonorisation professionnelle et d’instruments de musique, est actuellement à la recherche d’une personne de talent, astucieuse et inspirant confiance pour se joindre à son équipe de ventes de la division B&J Pro pour prendre en charge des territoires Quebec et/ou région atlantique, Ontario, Colombie Britannique Alberta et et/ou les Prairies. Basé à son bureau à domicile, se rapportant au vice-président de la division, le représentant aux ventes est responsable de la croissance de la présence des marques dans un territoire défini en prenant contact avec les clients potentiels et en renforçant les liens avec la clientèle actuelle.
Les responsabilités spécifiques comprendront mais ne se limiteront pas à:
- Servir les détenteurs actuels de compte en maintenant le niveau des inventaires, tenant des séminaires de formation pour le personnel, faisant et coordonnant des promotions de biens en magasin lorsque cela est nécessaire;
- Faire du démarchage téléphonique auprès de clients potentiels et aux clients actuels;
- Faire le suivi auprès des nouveaux clients et des clients actuels, auprès de prospects et d’opportunités;
- Tenir à jour ses connaissances sur les produits et s’assurer que les clients soient informés sur les produits actuels et nouveaux;
- Assister aux foires commerciales, aux séminaires de formation ainsi qu’aux réunions de vente, tel que requis;
- Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle et développer de bonnes relations d’affaire avec la clientèle;
- Participer de manière active à des appels conférences hebdomadaires et aux réunions de ventes afin d’améliorer l’efficacité et la réussite des ventes;
- 2 années d’expérience dans les ventes Indépendantes en Pro Audio;
- La connaissance du territoire et des marchands y œuvrant serait un atout;
- Être capable de travailler avec tous les niveaux de clientèle comprenant les marchands, les utilisateurs, les consultants, etc.;
- Avoir de l’expérience ainsi qu’une forte inclinaison vers le service à la clientèle est essentiel en plus d’exceller à offrir de l’excellent service à la clientèle;
- Les représentants des ventes indépendants reçoivent une commission sur la valeur nette des ventes à une clientèle spécifique à l’intérieur d’un territoire défini.
- Les représentants des ventes indépendants sont des entrepreneurs autonomes et non des employés des Industries JAM ou d’une des divisions d’Erikson Consumer.
