The Team
The Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Branch (MARB) manages the successful completion of projects and initiatives of strategic importance to the Government of British Columbia. The Branch ensures that the Government’s anti-racism mandate commitments and its legislative obligations under the Multiculturalism Act are fulfilled with three core objectives: championing anti-racism across government, addressing systemic discrimination, and supporting communities to respond to racism and hate.

The Role
The Program Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Grants and Projects, will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects within the Multiculturalism Branch. This includes contributing to programs that promote diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism, such as the Resilience BC Anti-Racism Network, the Multiculturalism Grants Program, and the Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Awards Ceremony. Working within a collaborative team, the Program Analyst will help ensure that these initiatives effectively foster multicultural understanding and equity across communities.

Qualifications:Education and Experience Requirements
  • Lived experience self-identifying as Black, Indigenous or a person of colour.
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services or related field.
  • Experience managing projects and/or project components.
  • Experience supporting projects and strategies to address racism and hate, build intercultural trust and understanding and/or reduce systemic barriers for racialized and other under-represented groups an asset.

About this Position:

This is a temporary opportunity until September 30, 2025. This position may be extended or become permanent. An eligibility list may be established to fill current and future permanent vacancies. Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved Telework Agreement. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required. Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
