The PLMS PIE (Prevention and Loss Management Services Program Integrity and Evaluation) team is a collaborative group that works closely with divisional partners to drive meaningful service improvements and ensure program integrity. Comprised of managers, data scientists, analysts, and senior project management experts, the team plays a crucial role in analyzing large data sets to identify overpayment patterns and create proactive solutions. They emphasize diversity and inclusion in their work, valuing the unique perspectives each member brings, while partnering with directors, quality and compliance specialists, and other analysts to make a lasting impact on prevention and compliance initiatives.

**The Role**
In this role you will use a project management approach to implement and evaluate service improvements, ensuring program integrity and supporting prevention and loss management initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing service quality for the Income and Disability Assistance programs, ensuring clients receive the benefits they are entitled to while supporting compliance efforts. **Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
Grid 18 Requirements:

- Degree in business administration, public administration, social sciences, or other related education or training and 1 year of *related experience; OR
- Diploma in business administration, public administration, social sciences, or other related education or training and 2 years of *related experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Related experience must include each of the following:

- Experience participating in joint projects with internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Experience researching program and/or policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
- Experience using Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Grid 21 Requirements
- All grid 18 requirements.
- Experience managing small projects and/or project components of a larger project.
- Experience monitoring and managing the work of project team members.

Grid 24 Requirements
- All grid 18 and 21 requirements.
- 2 years’ experience in leading large, complex program and/or policy projects, leading project teams, developing project deliverables, assessing progress, and taking/recommending corrective action.
- Experience providing program and/or policy advice and recommendations to management and/or executive in a public sector program delivery environment.
- Experience in conducting formal stakeholder consultations.

Preferences may be given to applicants with the following experience:

- Minimum of two years’ experience working with the Integrated Case Management (ICM) system.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in programs relating to the BC Employment and Assistance Act, BC Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act, their Regulations and ministry policies.
- Program delivery experience related to loss prevention, compliance, enforcement, or service quality activities.

**About this Position**:
Developmental Opportunity - Applicants will be appointed to the appropriate classification level based on their qualifications.
This position can be based in any Social Development and Poverty Reduction office. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
