The Accounting Analyst will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide analytical and accounting support on diverse topics while learning and understanding all components of our accounting cycle, as well as providing support to other areas of the business from time-to-time including client care, business development, and operations. This highly collaborative role is best for someone with excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. As with many growing companies our finance team is structured to support a level of cross training which provides the ability to fill in other roles when required including order management.

**What You Will Do**:

- Preparation and processing of month end journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare working papers, supporting documents and analysis to support financial statements, audits, and projects
- Development, preparation, and distribution of financial or activity reports to department managers
- Support customer care group by processing customer payments through Stripe and ACH/Wire transfers
- Examine, organize, and prepare data in response to manager requests
- Provide accounting guidance to different areas of the business including production and business development departments
- Actively participate and engage in on-going product knowledge training sessions
- General understanding of our order entry procedures as well as our shipping and delivery policies/schedules for support of our client care department

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Degree or diploma in accounting or finance
- Acumatica ERP experience considered an asset
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and balance multiple deliverables
- A positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
- The ability to adapt to changing tasks & priorities while staying calm and collected
- Have the proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
