About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Human Resources Coordinator and Junior Recruiter to manage and execute high-volume recruitment and onboarding efforts for our property management positions. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in their HR career and contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused organization. You will work closely with hiring managers throughout the full recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing offers, and supporting the onboarding process, ensuring we bring in top talent for every role.
At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.
As we are a highly collaborative team, this role is on-site full-time, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for high-volume, junior roles in property management, including Baristas, Concierge, Maintenance Technicians, etc.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through various sourcing channels such as job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, and referrals
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and support throughout the recruitment process
- Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding both the recruiting process and candidate job fit
- Maintain tracking system of all requisition and applicant activity
- Assist with talent acquisition activities as needed, such as attending school job fairs and recruitment events, to increase awareness of Fitzrovia and excitement around job opportunities
- Support the offer stage for candidates, ensuring timely communication, negotiation, and finalization of employment terms to secure top talent
- Support onboarding activities for all new hires
- Champion diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates for every role
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field required
- Prior experience in high volume recruitment is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software, such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment
- Ability to maintain a friendly, calm, professional demean or at all times
- Strong process management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner
- Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
- Fun, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
