We are a place where innovation is encouraged, talent and teamwork are celebrated, and results and success are rewarded.We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager in the Western Canada region.Job Summary Based in the Lower Mainland, this position's main objective is to grow market share for Peak and The Home Depot. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, Western Canada, this position will consistently work to define and develop new business opportunities that may be available and bring any opportunities forward. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional sales, interpersonal & communication skills and maintain great working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities: Achieve/exceed sales targets.Grow Peak and Home Depot market share.Adhere to budget constraints.Analyze sales reports and create action plans.Address underperforming and over-performing stores with action plans, then share the best practices with the entire sales and customer service team.Maintain professionalism as a Peak representative.Foster strong relationships with Home Depot associates at all levels.Schedule time to meet with Home Depot's, Regional teams, District teams, Store Manager teams, & Store Associates.Conduct training programs and product demonstrations with, Home Depot's, Regional teams, District teams, Store Manager teams, & Store Associates.Identify and develop new business opportunities within Home Depot.Support and execute new product launches; co-ordinate and monitor the successful implementation of store resets and/or remodels; plan and attend special store eventsCreating and maintaining Planogram data baseAttend Home Depot Meeting and fully participatePlan and share a monthly schedule of your store walks in advance.Attend Home Depot events in your regionPerform any other tasks and duties as requested by management from time to time.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experienceExperience in manufacturing, or account management, particularly in the home improvement industryPrevious experience selling to big-box retailer or distributor (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.).Superior work ethic and self-starterAbility and willingness to travel, approximately 90% of time spent on the road across British Columbia and other Western provinces. About half of this travel will require overnight stays.Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone and via emailExcellent organization skills and the ability to execute and manage competing demandsStrong interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPointPost-secondary education is preferred but not required.Compensation: Starting from $85,000 depending on experience plus discretionary bonus, car allowance, gas card.The Peak Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
