Account Executive
- Western Canada. In this role, the Account Executive is responsible for the strategic planning, development and execution of a specific plan in order to achieve and exceed the assigned sales growth targets for the Cole Haan footwear category. Must exercise in depth knowledge of the territory business practices including building strong business relationships as a strategic partner and Cole Haan brand ambassador. Must be located in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario.

**CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Direct responsibility for managing the business.
- Execute quarterly sell-in meetings in line with Cole Haan Brand objectives.
- Formulate and implement short-term and long-term strategic business plans in conjunction with senior leadership that will execute against corporate sales and profit goals to ensure that objectives are achieved.
- Develop recommended product assortments covering all categories.
- Liaison cross-functionally with Cole Haan Merchandising team with specific product feedback for development and long-range product needs and ensure robust assortment / development.
- Work closely with merchandising partners to ensure robust assortment by category.
- Forecast account needs and manage the account on-order vs monthly financial goals.
- Master product and brand information, selling and marketing strategies to inform and drive the business.
- Act as liaison between the various Cole Haan departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met. Collaborate with Customer Service, Marketing, Planning, Finance, Merchandising to address customers needs, both internal and external.
- Monitor weekly/monthly retail sales performance against goals per account. Develop sell through strategies to affect underperforming categories. Monitor stock levels and identify and communicate opportunities for reorders, new orders and special orders.
- Identify account opportunities to improve product assortment. Clearly identify and communicate competitive trends.
- Build strong relationships with Buyers and ensure strong collaboration and partnership.
- Utilize Cole Haan and sales automation systems and tools to analyze, manage and plan into the business as well prepare business report.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Senior Director for Canada.

**Requirements**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelors' degree in related area or equivalent experience
- 7+ years' experience in men's/women's footwear or accessories sales required.
- Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to manage day-to-day details as well the ability to define and execute against long-term strategic vision and objectives.
- Demonstrated track record in meeting sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility.
- Understanding of all retail profitability components.
- Strong analytical ability, organizational, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Flexible to travel as required.
