Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Officer to join our Fundraising and Public Relations team at Good Shepherd Ministries. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing fundraising activities, identifying and soliciting grants and sponsorships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with donors and stakeholders to provide timely and effective responses to their inquiries.
  • Research and identify potential corporate and foundation funders to develop new donor relationships.
  • Develop and write compelling proposals and applications to secure funding.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are met to sustain and strengthen partnerships.
  • Develop recognition programs to acknowledge donor support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum three years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Superior written communication skills to produce proposals and other correspondence.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
