Job Summary">

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide wound and ostomy consultation to patients in clinics and communities, promoting self-management and leading interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Use wound and ostomy care knowledge to assess, prevent, and intervene in wound infections and ostomy care. ">
  • Care for patients with consuming wounds, ostomies, and continence issues, including lower leg assessments and ABPIs. ">
  • Apply research evidence to practice by critically appraising the wound care literature. ">
  • Provide classifications and indications, reducing visit frequency and obtaining desired outcomes. ">
Requirements">
  • ">
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma. ">
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing. ">
  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC). ">
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies. ">
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle for regular travel. ">
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. ">
  • CPR Certification. ">
  • Current immunization record and TB test. ">
  • Vulnerable sector check and clear background check. ">
