Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and passionate individual to take on a challenging role in a family managed care setting. You will work closely with families to develop personalized plans that address their unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing one-on-one support to clients with diverse needs and backgrounds
  • Assisting families in navigating the process of obtaining funding for care
  • Developing and implementing respite support plans to promote relaxation and rejuvenation
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues alike.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A diploma in developmental services, bachelors in psychology, or a related field
  • Master's degree in neuroscience or a related field (an asset)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, abuse, and trauma

You will also need to have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle, as travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will be entitled to benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

You will be serving the following areas: Woodstock and surrounding regions, London and area, Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding regions, and Guelph and surrounding regions.
