About the Firm:
Arlyn Recruiting is partnering with a dynamic boutique law firm in Vancouver to find an HR/Operations Coordinator for a 14-month parental leave contract. This unique firm specializes in construction commercial litigation and family law, known for its friendly and supportive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, offer letters, and onboarding.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage benefits administration, facilities management, and coordination with other departments.
- Benefits Administration: Handle record management queries and market research on benefits offerings.
- Performance Management: Support performance reviews and time record monitoring.
- Learning and Development: Identify training needs, develop learning strategies, manage training schedules, and coordinate staff meetings.
- Leave Administration: Maintain leave records and coordinate coverage.
- HR Strategy Support: Assist in policy development, change management, and other HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Higher education qualification in HR or a related field or equivalent real-world experience.
- Experience as an HR assistant/coordinator is an asset.
- Foundational knowledge of HR legal and ethical responsibilities.
- Office administration experience.
Requirements:
- Eagerness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to handle a range of tasks.
