About the Job

The Operations Manager role is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a focus on delivering results. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced logistics environment, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with key processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 40-100 professionals, inspiring them to achieve high levels of productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
  • Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Quality Driven Management methodologies, resulting in increased efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity, foster an environment of respect and value for diverse backgrounds, and ensure performance plans are set, maintained, and continuously improved.
  • Manage a safe workplace by advocating for safety training and accident preparedness, and ensure shipment and loading accuracy on all shifts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related operations discipline, as well as a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a logistics environment. Strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proven track record of leadership are essential.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $77,135 - $141,408 per year, reflecting the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education/training, and work experience.
